Hi, I'm Dr. Leticia Berg. Thanks for being here!
I specialize in OCD spectrum, anxiety disorders, PTSD, grief and depression and I have a wide array of clinical experiences within the UCLA Health System, residential treatment, and community mental health. I completed my pre-doctoral clinical and research training at UCLA's Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. My first assignment was serving as an Emergency Medical Research Associate, screening patients for enrollment in clinical trials and observational studies. During my first practicum at Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, I provided behavioral therapy for patients with moderate to severe OCD in the Adult Intensive Outpatient Program. In the Department of Psychiatry, I consulted with patients on cognitive behavioral treatment approaches for insomnia in the Sleep Medicine Clinic. In my final doctoral pre-internship, I worked as a crisis counselor at Stuart House, a treatment center for teen and adult survivors of sexual assault at Santa Monica Hospital.
Post-doctorally, I am working in private practice in Santa Monica, California, in the office of Dr. Kristen McDonald, PhD, providing individual psychotherapy, as well as ADHD assessments, couples therapy and exposure/response prevention treatment for patients with moderate to severe OCD.
